Keith Stone Brings The Heat to NOLA Music Fest

New Orleans musician Keith Stone begins his first European tour as the headliner for "Festival Taste of New Orleans" in Melnik, Czech Republic.
This free International Festival takes place On Saturday, June 24 at 2pm and includes New Orleans food, a second line, and seven musical acts.
Stone will close out the festival with his fiery style of New Orleans Blues and R & B.
In addition to the Festival, Stone will be performing at the National House in Usti nad Labem, on Monday, June 26 and The Jazz Dock in Prague, on Saturday, July 1.
Festival promoter and pianist Tomas Homuta and his band will accompany Stone for the entire tour. Stone and Homuta met in New Orleans in 2016 when Homuta visted
the city to experience the music and culture firsthand. Stone says, "I invited Tomas to sit in on a couple of songs at a gig and he didn't stop playing until he went home three months later."
Stone will utilize the new Condor Airlines nonstop flight between New Orleans and Frankfurt, Germany to travel to Europe.
Keith Stone is a New Orleans born musician, and former disaster relief leader, who returned home after 14 years to help in the rebuilding of the New Orleans Metro area in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
In 2016 he released his first solo album "The Prodigal Returns" which received international acclaim including a 4 Star review in DownBeat Magazine. Keith has shared the stage with musical legends such as Dr. John and the late Wayne Bennett. He is currently organizing his second album due to be released in 2018.
